Who it's for

Leaders who own a marketing budget and will be asked this year what the company is doing with AI.

  • CMO
  • Head of growth
  • Head of marketing
  • Brand and content leads
  • Marketing ops and analytics
  • A finance or legal partner

The problem it solves

Teams are experimenting everywhere, and nobody can say what it is worth.

Licences get bought, pilots multiply, and spend moves faster than decisions. Without a shared view of where AI changes cost, speed and quality, leaders fund the loudest idea instead of the most valuable one, and risk gets handled after something goes wrong.

  • We have the licences, but no one can tell me what they have changed.
  • Every team is running its own pilot.
  • Legal wants a policy. Marketing wants to move.

Agenda

Four decisions in one afternoon.

Each block ends in a decision, not a discussion. Everything is built from your pre-work, so the examples on the screen are yours. A short break sits between the second and third decisions.

  1. 0:0045 min

The new economics of marketing work

Where AI changes the cost, speed and quality of the work your function does today, and where it does not. What is now cheap, and what stays scarce: judgement, taste, distribution and trust.

    • Cost per asset
    • Time to launch
    • Report turnaround
    • Where quality slips

    On your work

A cost-and-time map of your main recurring marketing activities, built from the pre-work interviews. You correct it in the room and agree which numbers the function will track.

  2. 0:4515 min

    Seen on your own work

A short live demonstration of an agent prepared on one of your real workflows, with the human sign-off step shown, so the discussion starts from what is actually possible.

    Live demonstration

One workflow chosen from your pre-work, run end to end on sample data you approve.

  3. 1:0060 min

    Where to fund first

Scoring the long list on value, feasibility and risk. Build, buy or train for each. The difference between a pilot that impresses and a workflow that gets used.

    • Value against effort
    • Build, buy or train
    • Pilot exit criteria

    On your work

Your own long list of ideas, scored live. You leave with three funded priorities, each with an owner, a measure and a first milestone.

  4. 2:1545 min

    Risk, brand and governance

Data handling, brand voice, claims and disclosure, IP and approvals. Who can use what, on which data, and who signs off before anything reaches a customer.

    • Data classes
    • Approved tools
    • Disclosure
    • Sign-off

    On your work

Red-line a one-page AI use policy for marketing, starting from a draft we prepare against your existing brand and compliance rules.

  5. 3:0060 min

    The operating-model decision

A central team, a champions network, or capability inside agencies and partners. Who owns each agent, which roles change, and what the next 90 days look like.

    • Ownership
    • Roles that change
    • Agency model
    • The 90-day plan

    On your work

Choose a model, name the owners and agree the 90-day plan in the room. We write it up within two working days.

Outputs

What you leave with.

Tangible, on your systems, owned by your team. Nothing here is a slide.

  • Map

    AI opportunity map

Your recurring marketing work, mapped by where AI changes cost, speed and quality, and where it should not be used.

  • Plan

    Three funded priorities

Each with an owner, a measure and a first milestone inside 90 days.

  • Policy

    One-page AI use policy

For marketing, red-lined in the room and ready for legal review.

  • Decision

    Operating-model decision

Who owns what, which roles shift, and how agencies and partners fit.

  • Scorecard

    Measurement baseline

The few numbers you will track, with today's value agreed.

  • Readout

    Written readout

Every decision and owner, written up within two working days.

How it runs

Before, during and after.

The session is the middle of the work, not all of it.

Before

An hour of your time, not a week

We prepare from your context so the room can decide, not discover.

  • 30-minute interviews with three or four leaders
  • a short survey of current AI use
  • your main recurring workflows and costs, as far as you know them

During

Decisions, not slides

Four blocks, each ending in a decision, with your own work on the screen.

  • one live demonstration on your workflow
  • priorities scored live
  • everything captured as it is agreed

After

Readout and a 30-day check

We follow the decisions until they are moving.

  • written readout within two working days
  • a 30-day check on the three priorities
  • a plain recommendation, even if it is no further work from us

How we measure it

Measured, not estimated.

We track a few numbers that show whether the work changed. No vanity scores, no satisfaction surveys passed off as results.

Decisions made

Priorities funded, owners named and the policy agreed in the room.

Measured by the written readout, signed off by you.

Time to first workflow

Days from the briefing to the first priority running on real work.

Measured by dates in the 90-day plan, checked at 30 days.

Adoption

Weekly use of the approved tools and workflows across the function.

Measured by licence and usage data you already have.

Hours saved

Time back on the funded workflows, timed before and after.

Measured by timing real tasks, not a survey.

We agree the baseline with you before we start, and we report what we measure, including what did not stick.

Guardrails

The rules are set before anyone builds.

The briefing is where these rules get agreed. We bring them already applied.

  • Your data stays in your accounts

We work inside the tools you already licence, on accounts you control. Nothing is copied to ours, and any sample data is data you approve.

  • Your brand and compliance rules apply

Your voice guide, claims rules and regulatory limits are written into every exercise and every system we build.

  • A person signs off

Every workflow has a named owner on your team. Nothing reaches a customer without a human approving it.

  • No new tools required

We start with what you already pay for. Where a gap matters, we explain it and leave the choice with you.

Led by practitioners, not trainers.

Sessions are led by Rajeev Pandey and the ThinkPivot team, who design and run these workflows for clients every week. The examples come from live operating work, not a course library.

For the leadership briefing, Rajeev leads. He has run P&Ls and owned revenue numbers, so the conversation stays on economics and decisions rather than features.

General workshop questions
Do our leaders need to be technical?

No. The briefing is about economics, risk and ownership. The live demonstration shows what the work looks like, but nobody is asked to build anything.

Who should be in the room?

The people who own budget and risk for marketing: usually the CMO or head of growth, their direct reports, and ideally a partner from finance, legal or IT. Up to 12 people keeps it a working session.

What do you need from us beforehand?

About an hour, spread across three or four people: short interviews, a brief survey on current AI use, and a list of your main recurring workflows. We do the rest.

Can it run remotely?

Yes, as two shorter sessions on consecutive days. We recommend on-site for this format because decisions land better when the room is together.

Will you push us towards new tools?

No. We start with the tools you already licence. Where a gap matters, we explain it and leave the choice with you.

How is our information handled?

Everything you share is treated as confidential, and we are happy to work under your NDA. The demonstration runs on data you approve, inside your accounts.

What happens after the briefing?

You get a written readout within two working days and a check-in at 30 days. The natural next step is often the hands-on team workshop for the people who will do the work. Sometimes nothing more is needed.
